We are looking for an RVN to join our team of nine nurses.

PHP is a proudly independent small animal practice based in Dorset. We have two branches. We moved in to our main site in Lychett Minster last summer after a year long project to create the best environment for our patients, clients and staff. Our branch is in the heart of Wareham and  is very much part of the community there.

We are looking for an RVN who is passionate about nursing, whether that’s in theatre, advocating best practice or supporting clients through nurse clinics. We will support you in whatever your interests are, providing uncapped CPD. If you want to learn something, and it will benefit the practice, we will support you. There is no OOH and a 1 in 5 Saturday morning rota.

We believe in nurse skills. Our team do dentals, schedule 3 surgeries, arthritis management consults as well as supporting the Vets.

Ideally we are looking for a part time (3 days) RVN but will consider full time. FT for us is a 4 day week: 4 x 8 hr days. Work/ life balance is extremely important to us which is why we introduced the 4 day week.

PHP is a really strong team across the vets, nurses and support staff. We are all proud of the work we do. Everyones opinions are valued and ideas given consideration. We have monthly meetings to talk about cases and discuss whats going on in the practice.
