Opportunity for an RVN to join our team
Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a registered vet nurse to join our excellent nursing team. Although this position is initially to cover maternity leave, it is a permanent position at PHP.
The Pet Health Partnership is proudly independent small animal practice in beautiful Dorset. We have two branches, at Lytchett Minster and Wareham and can help with accomodation if relocating.
PHP values the wellbeing of staff highly and prioritises a healthy work/life balance. There are no OOH shifts to cover and the full time role would be 32 hours over four days, with one in five Saturday mornings to cover (9-12.00)
Our practice has 5 vets, 8 RVN’s and an SVN. We believe in the skills of our staff and encourage (and fund) CPD. If you have a specific interest and it will benefit the practice, we will support that, up to certificate level.
We value our clients very highly, therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential and a keen interest in nurse clinics encouraged. We have an extensive inhouse Idexx lab, ultrasound, usual digital x-ray and dental x-ray.
PHP is in an exciting period of expansion and growth and our team are enthusiastic and driven. It is an exciting year! We moved in to our beautiful new building in July 2025 which has really allowed us to utilise the skills of our nurses, whether that’s through dentals, stitch ups, inpatient nursing or nurse clinics.
All idea’s and opinions are listened to. Regular vets and nurse meetings gives the whole team a chance to discuss and drive our standards even higher.
