Skin
Oh that pesky itch!!
Ever had an itch that just won’t go away?
This is sometimes how our pets feel.
Does your dog frequently:
- scratch, lick or chew their paws, armpits, groin, or base of tail?
- Rub their faces along the furniture
- Shake their head or scratch their ears
- Have red / watery eyes
- Have brown stains on their fur
Does your cat frequently:
- overgroom / lick and bite their skin
- have bald patches, often on their tummy, legs and base of their tail
- have a rash of tiny scabs along their lower back, neck and face
If you answered YES to any of the above then it is likely that your pet has a skin allergy.
Sadly there is no cure for allergies but there are lots of things we can do to help your pet become morecomfortable.
